Review pricing

Pricing review is the final editable draft. Work from top to bottom and compare the result with the source references before publishing.

Check the following sections when the supplier includes accommodation:

  1. Season calendar — names and every from/to period.
  2. Rates — currency, price form, adult occupancy or charged position range, child age range, board basis, room, season, and amount. A price can be per person, a total for the room/unit, or a marginal amount for named additional adults. Single, double, triple, and quad are occupancy numbers rather than separate price types.
  3. Child percentage policies — age bands and the percentage of the adult rate.
  4. Single occupancy supplements — flat or percentage uplifts.

Source citations beside extracted values open the relevant document page. A missing citation is a reason to inspect the value closely, but it does not automatically mean the value is wrong.

An additional-person rate extends an earlier complete occupancy price. For example, a two-adult per-person sharing rate together with a third/fourth-adult rate means the first two adults use the sharing rate and the third and fourth adults use the additional-person rate. Their ranges must not overlap. A blank upper limit means “and above”; it does not mean that the value is unknown.

Checking a new board basis creates a new, initially empty set of rate cells. It does not rename the existing prices.

To rename an extracted basis, choose Change basis beside Add currency, select the current and new bases, and confirm. TravelDB moves the existing prices while preserving their rooms, seasons, price forms, applicability ranges, amounts, and source references. It stops if the destination already contains conflicting cells.

Review each charge and service definition together with its rates, currencies, dates, age bands, and source references. Make sure a mandatory fee has not been interpreted as an optional service, or vice versa.

Choose Save corrections after editing. Unsaved pricing cannot be published. If several suppliers were extracted, save the current supplier before switching tabs.

Choose Continue to Publish to open the separate publication screen. Returning to Pricing lets you make further corrections until the supplier’s draft has been published. Continue with the guide for your selected Rates Store for its preview and publication steps.
