Tourplan settings
An organisation owner can open Settings from the TravelDB navigation. These settings are shared by everyone in the organisation. Members cannot change them.
Connect Tourplan
Section titled “Connect Tourplan”- Enter a Connection name to identify the connection.
- Enter the full Instance URL for Tourplan productConnect. This is the API endpoint supplied by your Tourplan administrator, rather than the website you use to log into Tourplan.
- Enter the productConnect Username and Password.
- Choose Test and save.
TravelDB checks that it can reach Tourplan and search its suppliers before saving. A successful save makes Tourplan the destination for new extractions. Choose Go to Rates Assistant to start uploading. If the test fails, your saved settings stay unchanged; check the connection details and try again.
The connection test reads from Tourplan. It does not publish any rates.
Update login details
Section titled “Update login details”Edit the username or enter a replacement password, then choose Test and save. Leaving the password field blank keeps the saved password. The existing password is never displayed or sent back to your browser.
Credential updates also apply when you revisit an existing extraction using this connection. The supplier and option bindings remain the same.
Instance changes
Section titled “Instance changes”You can correct the instance URL before the connection has any extractions or saved bindings. Once it has been used, its URL cannot be changed here: those extractions and bindings belong to that instance. Contact TravelDB if you need to move to a different Tourplan instance.
If another owner saves changes while you are editing, TravelDB rejects your stale save. Reload Settings, review the latest values, and reapply your changes.
